We have plenty of friends that have refinanced in a month’s time w/ other banks since we started this Process. No one can even give us an answer as to why this is happening and the Covid excuse wore out months ago.

We are not even offered an apology for the 5 months it’s taken to settle a loan that was approved and supposedly “good to go” on April 4th, 2020? Not even, “our bad, we are really sorry.” Instead we get a cocky response from Client Relations? We were told at one point not to make our mortgage payment (about 3 months into this process, mind you) because our settlement was going to happen any day and it would be a double payment to our existing mortgage company. Update: since I cannot reply to Quicken Loans comment I thought I’d add more to mine. It truly seems like one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing.

They will say they are just finishing up on getting our payoffs or they have to rerun our credit because of the amount of time that has passed. They still call us once every couple weeks and give us the same excuse over and over as to why we haven’t closed yet. We paid them their $500 to start the process and gave them everything they needed on our end by April 4th 2020. I bought quicken deluxe based on a few threads here and it's been pretty good after much time spent entering accounts. I see that I can get it from Costco for about $35. I need to renew my Quicken Deluxe subscription.
